I have been the Iowa football reporter for The Gazette since Sept. 2021. I’ve covered the 2023 and 2024 Women’s Final Fours, 2021 Big Ten football championship game and three bowl games while using public records requests, data and other tools to differentiate my reporting.

Along with traditional beat reporting, I have a weekly curated newsletter, interactive text group with fans and a podcast, which was named the best in the state by the Iowa Newspaper Association.

Before my current role, I was The Gazette’s business, energy and sports enterprise reporter.

I graduated from Marquette University in 2020 with degrees in journalism, digital media and Spanish and remain actively involved with the university’s mentorship program. I also was a 2021-22 fellow in the Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship.
